- This Antique Letter Opener has a Sterling Silver Handle with a Beautiful Tortoise Shell Blade.
- Has Birmingham hallmarks with letter date of 1891but the makers mark is faded so silversmith is unknown.
- Stamped and Hallmarked
- Condition: Good - Item does not have any ding or dents on the handle but the blade moves slightly and has very tiny chip on one edge.
- Size: approx. 5 1/4" Total Length - Handle: 2 1/2" Blade: 2 3/4
- Weight: approx. 6 grams

GOOD - Item shows some signs of normal wear consistent with the age and handling of the item and may have some minor imperfections such as light scratches, dings or fading.
FAIR - Item shows more noticeable imperfections such as chips, cracks and may have been touched up or repaired or is missing a component.

Due to the varying schools of thought concerning cleaning Vintage Sterling Silver we do not clean or polish any of these type of items and instead choose to leave that decision in the hands of our customers.
